Which Money Making Program To Buy ?

Are You Frustrated, Overwhelmed, Confused,Struggling And Broke?
You purchase a product that makes some amazing claims onthe results it will produce for you, even backed up withproof it will live up to those promises. But after youfinish going through the product you are no closer thanwhen you started?Would you believe this is normal? In fact, in most casesit would be very difficult to see the results promised.
Failure Is NOT Your Fault 90% Of The Time
Did you know that failure is not your fault the majorityof the time? I’m serious. We are prone to blame and beatourselves up for not succeeding. But, the crazy thing is,most of the time it’s a failure of the process or systemwe’re trying to follow rather than us.Picture this: Someone has given you the task of putting apuzzle together. Now here’s the rub, instead of just one puzzle, they dumpthe contents of 5 different puzzles on the floor. Not onlythat…they then give you the box cover to only one of thepuzzles.Let me ask you: What are the odds of you putting thepuzzle together without losing your sanity? Next-to-none.Now, let me ask you this: Does that make you a failure?NO! Of Course Not!And it’s because of two specific reasons – the Get RichQuick Myth and the Confuse You Tactic.
The Get Rich Quick Myth – BUSTED!
To Summarize It…Can we all agree that to be successful in anything inlife requires skill in that area? Everything from hitting abaseball to making money requires the skill to do theseactivities. Of course that’s true. And skill is developed over time either through long, painful trial and error. Or it’s developed by consistentlyfollowing a proven system that develops a skill and allowsyou to produce your desired results.Every “get rich story” you hear, although true, conveniently leaves out what it really took to get to thepoint where they could produce those dramatic results. (AndI now realize they leave out something even more important, which is the “Dirty Laundry” part of this report.)In my case, back in 2001 I created from scratch a brandnew site that did $102,386.28 in sales in just 6 shortweeks. I went from nothing to $102,386.28 in sales in 6weeks.Most people trying to sell you something will stop thereand let you draw your own conclusions (i.e. you’ll get thesame result), but I won’t do that.Everything I just said is true, but like Paul Harvey says:
…And Now, The "Rest Of The Story"
However before my big "get rich quick" experience, I spent4 years making anywhere from nothing to $100 or a fewthousands dollars a month. One month I even made $10,000.During those 4 years I struggled, I had successes,I learned a lot...and I lost a lot. What really happened is I "got rich quick"because of the 4 years that led up to those 6 weeks. If you are willing to accept the truth after reading this report (most weak kneed, delusional bizoppjunkies will never read it for fear of actuallylearning the realities of life and making money), then...
Then you are left with three options.
1) Quit, give up on your dreams, your goals, and livean unfilled life of quiet suffering, frustration, anger, and pain.Admit you are just not willing to accept the truth andmove onto somebody else who is willing to sell you thedream so you can keep living in that wonderful fantasyworld of Getting Rick Quick. But you know that it is (andwill always be) a fantasy until you are willing to acceptthe realities of business.2) Keep on trudging and gain your own trialand error experience. And then, after many years, manythousands of dollars and many sleepless nights (andpossibly marriages) you’ll experience a breakthrough thatallows you to “get rich quick”.3) Take advantage of somebody else’slearning curve and follow a proven step-by-step system thateliminates the “painful, costly, trial-and-error learningcurve”... and enables you to do it all in just monthsinstead of years. So if you were like me, the solution would appear to befollowing a system. But that just opens up a whole new canof deadly worms...It’s called the “Confuse You Tactic.”
The Confuse You Tactic In Hiding
Problem (1) There has beena proliferation of products people have been selling asonline money making “systems”.
Problem (2) Another major problem facing people in this Industry. You are being given an incomplete system! Some people will find what I’m about to say shocking, others will nod their head and say that makes sense... and most will do both!
Here is the life of a typical product
in this marketplace. The owner (let’s call them a “Guru” for fun) either comesup with an idea for a product, or has a need to generatesome fast cash. They then slap all their ideas together into a product asquickly as possible, or worse yet, they create the “idea”for the product and then plan to create it “when needed” atthe very last moment after it’s already been sold.Next they rush their product to completion and hype it upto high heaven (usually using the Get Rich Quick myths wetalked about) so people will buy it like ants attacking apicnic. If a “real company” looked at this process, they wouldlaugh hysterically and think it was a joke or somethingdreamt up by a couple of drunk college kids. Can you imagine Apple releasing a new product using that“system”?In the real world new products go through a process firstbased on market research, product concept, validation, prototype, testing, improvement, small scale trial roll outand then, once it has made it that far and proven to be arock solid product that produces the results promised, it’ssold to the public as a product. (Unless you are calledMicrosoft and plan to come out with an operating systemthat starts with a V!)Let me step back for a second...Now don’t get me wrong, like any group of people, most of them are great people that are focused on trulyhelping their customers. So we’re not trying to bashanyone. And quite a few people you and I know are not likethis. Heck, we are probably one of the biggest buyers ofnew information around.
But Let’s Get Real…
…because, here’s the critically important thing tounderstand.Though most of these products possess good information, a lot of what you buy is incomplete or mis-marketed. In otherwords, the only way you could realistically implement whatyou learn is if you’re already a success. How can somebody document and effectively teach somethingthat was concocted within days or even hours? It can’t help but be incomplete; in fact it’s virtuallyguaranteed to be incomplete.See what I’m getting at?Again, is it any wonder you’re confused, frustrated andflat out baffled about succeeding online? I think not.Just like you can’t complete a puzzle when it’s missingmost of its pieces, you can’t have success online using anincomplete system.
It’s first to help you see what I see (sometimes it’sdownright disgusting) so you can make smarter, moreeducated decisions.Second, to make sure all of us, in our businessesregardless of what market we are in, operate at higherstandards. That we focus on delivering what the customerneeds and wants, in a way they can successfully use it.But first, I want to make sure you REALLY get this. SoTake a look at a frightening yet accurate comparison.Let’s look at something we are all familiar with but arenot emotionally attached to (unless you are doing it rightnow!) - building a house. If you want to build a house, of course, you need ablueprint to follow when building it. Without the blueprintit would be impossible to build a house you would everconsider living in.So then, logically, house = online businessand blueprint = course teaching you a system.
The “Whole” vs. The “Parts”
But what would happen if the blueprint you were given wascreated by a plumber?Yes, he has a lot of experience being one part ofbuilding a house. And he gives you an amazing blueprint ondoing the plumbing of the house. However, even with the best, most complete plumbing blueprint,
would you ever be able to successfully build ahouse? Of course not, that is very obvious. What if you also got an electrical blueprint, and aroofing one, and a cabinet one, and a dozen otherblueprints. Would you then be able to build a house? You might know the theory how to do a lot of differentthings, but you would be completely clueless how they fittogether, the sequence that should be completed, and howthe house should look when completed or what to do whendifferent people give you conflicting information. You would be sitting at your desk, frustrated, overwhelmed, and confused. It would be impossible to moveforward and achieve any significant level of success.Yeah you might be able to put a few wires together, naila few boards together and be “active”. But none of thatactivity moves you closer to having the dream house you andyour loved ones can live in for the rest of your life.Unfortunately a lot of the products out there beingmarketed as “systems” are really systems on just one veryspecific piece of having a successful business.Right now you probably have great information on traffic, blogs, affiliate marketing, Adwords, Adsense, and a dozenother things, none of them making up a complete business.
One Part But Not All The Parts
Imagine if you have the best blueprint in the world...for the second floor of your dream house. How helpful would that be?To have a successful house you need the complete blueprint. It starts with the foundation, then the first floor, then thesecond floor and finally the roof.If you are missing just one of them it ain’t gonna work. But you see it time and time again. You are sold a“system” that is really only one part of their system, notthe whole system. They either unknowingly leave outcritical pieces or, worse yet, intentionally make itincomplete (yet still sell it to you as a complete system),and then make you buy the rest of the pieces.Have you ever been “baited and switched” like thisbefore?
Missing The Details
Here is a real common one: You actually are given a bigpicture blueprint for all levels of your dream house. However it’s missing the details of exactly what to do.You get the big picture on what it should look like, butit never mentions you have to hang the sheetrock, use 2x4’swith 6 inch nails, or put down the floor tile. It leavesout all the small but critical details needed tosuccessfully build your dream home.Have you ever gone through a product and were leftthinking, “This sounds awesome, but I have no clue how toimplement it???”
Then, finally, you have the complete blueprint and italso has all the details, but it gives you everything inthe wrong order. It has you hanging the sheetrock beforeputting in the plumbing.Or it’s full of information, steps, and shortcuts onlyseasoned pros should do. But if you tried following it yourfirst time, it could easily turn into a disaster. The reality is, once somebody becomes successful theyknow how to do what they are doing now (all of the seasonedpro shortcuts and techniques) and teach you that. But it’smissing everything you need to become a seasoned pro so youcan actually use those shortcuts and techniques. time after time we see people sell some“magic bullet” package of crap from the stage and peoplerush back to buy it. However there is almost a zero percentchance they are getting anything that resembles a truesystem that’s complete and useable.Geez, I’m pretty sure if I was trying to learn how tostart, launch, and grow a successful online business todayI would be lost, frustrated, overwhelmed, and confused too. What can you do starting today to successfullymove forward? What’s the solution?Follow a TRUE system. With a heavy emphasis on the word true and system.
What To Look For In A True SystemTo Follow? (And what not to touchwith a ten-foot pole!)
I’m not going to tell you to “use this system or that system” because we are all unique and different and believe inmaking choices for ourselves based on the informationavailable. Start by using a money making review website. These types of websites have already tested orat the very least, have extensively researched money making programsand will only reccomend programs that actually work. After many years of marketing and researching online, I have becomeextremely clear what a real system that works has to looklike so you can make a smart educated decision that is morethan hype and slick sales messages.
1) They Do What They Teach: Knowing about something andactually doing it are two different things. You want tolearn from somebody who is teaching from what they do on adaily basis to start, launch, and grow online businesses. The worst thing is learning from somebody who has neverdone it themselves – they are just telling you what theythink works... or what they heard other people talkabout... or what they think people want to hear.Next up the ladder is somebody who has successfully doneit once, but was never able to duplicate that success. Inessence they could be labeled a one-hit wonder, the “WhoLet The Dog’s Out” of Internet Marketing!Another variation of that is somebody who successfullydid the Start and Launch part years ago, but for the past3, 4, 5 years or more they have only been in the GrowingPhase of their online business. So what they are teachingyou on the critical Starting and Launching Phases isoutdated or it’s been so long ago for them it’s become abit fuzzy. The best case scenario is the information that is coming fromsomebody who is actively Starting, Launching, and Growingonline businesses. So you know the information you arereceiving is tested, proven, current, accurate, anduseable. Is what they do and teachbased on building a long-term lucrative business or isit based on short term gimmicks and fads requiring youto always be working to stay ahead of the curve?Obviously you want the time you invest in building youronline business to pay you for the long-term. Howeverif the time you invest is in the latest fad, you willalways be working hard to keep it working (or movingonto the next fad) and, congratulations, you now have aturned your business into a grueling job.You want to make sure the system you follow is based onbuilding assets that will pay you for the long-term,can grow and expand and is not capped in theopportunity, and is duplicatable so the skills andexperience you gain can be used over and over again.2) They Know How To Teach What They Do So OthersCan Create Results: Knowing what to do and knowing how toteach others how to do it are two very different skills. It’s easy to skip over things that now “come naturally”to them, but you would never know to do or think about. Orthey talk at an advanced level they are at and not at alevel you are getting started with. It’s not easy to take something as complex as starting, launching, and building a true online business and be ableto successfully teach others how to successfully do thatfor themselves.3) They Have Documented Results Of Others FollowingTheir System (especially from “newbies” starting fromscratch... not just seasoned pros). This is the solution to Item #2. Are other people likeyourself able to use their system and get results? The key phrase is “other people like yourself.” If youare just getting started, but only people who are alreadysuccessful are able to use their system, then that doesn’thelp you! It’s easy for somebody with a website, a list, andprevious knowledge and experience to use an idea from aproduct and create a great testimonial. It’s a totallydifferent story for somebody starting from the beginning tocreate great results.4) Make Most Of Their Money Outside Of The InternetMarketing Information Niche (ie: their system is provenin the real world).I’m sure you have seen the people who make all of theirmoney selling you information on how to make money online, even though they never made much (if any) money prior toselling how to make money online information. And to topit off, what they teach you is not how to do what they do(sell and make money online information), but instead tellyou to do things that they themselves are actually notdoing.Their business of teaching other people how to do whatthey do should be just one part of what they do, not all ofit.In fact it’s quite common and a great thing for peoplewho are successful to want to help others achieve that samesuccess as well. If it was not for people sharing theirexpertise and knowledge, we would never be able to learnand grow.5) Not a “Johnny Come Lately”: If somebody recently hada fast rise, usually tied to a short-lived fad, that meansthey haven’t experienced the long-term aspects of abusiness. Their system might be OK right now, but mostlikely not in the long-term... or at least it is unprovenfor the long-term.I understand the desire to help others by sharing what isworking for them right now so other people can do the same. However, if you’re goal is to have a successful businessthat builds up valuable money-making assets, lasts for thelong-term, and is not some quick fix fast result that diesas fast as it starts... then make sure that is what you arefollowing.Otherwise you will always be chasing the quick fixes, fads, and fast bucks. While in that same time you could have built a solid, successful business that allows you to quit your job, makemore money than you’ve ever have, and be secure that yourfinancial success will be there for years to come.A “Problem” With This ApproachI am going to tell you something that WILL SHOCK YOU andyou will have a choice, to accept it or not.It will take work!If you are still reading then great! That loud crashingsound you hear was all of the delusional junkies whoactually believe they will get rich quick without doinganything... the ones that think work is a four-letter-word.We could hype this up to astronomical proportions and geta few bucks from them. But in our business we want to workwith long term customers and clients who go out and use ourproven system to start, launch, and grow successful onlinebusinesses, create success, and keep coming back for moreto be even more successful. But work, as you probably think of it, isn’t accurate.
My Definition of “Work”
Work smart, not... unfocused, unproductive, wasted, scattered, frustrated work. And following a true system will allow you to work smart. It will show you what to do right now today, then what todo after that is done and then what’s the next step... andon and on. It will keep moving you forward in the rightdirection, so you are never left guessing what to do next. You’ll know what to focus on and or what’s alsounnecessary. And it has safety systems in place. Because the creatorsknow where you will usually struggle, they will have put inextra effort for those areas. They will have gone the extramile for you, showing you exactly how to do what needs tobe done and quickly get past the roadblocks you will runinto.Instead of feeling like you were sold something and leftout to flap around helplessly on your own……you instead feel like you have somebody right there nextto you, guiding you through every step of the system. Pretty soon the results are rolling in and now you areseen as the shining star everybody else is looking up tojust like you looked up to other successful members. This is why make money review sites are helpfulthey have already tried or extensively researched money making programsand will only reccomend programs that actually work.Real Value, Real Results – Given. They have already done the hard work for you.
Right now you are probably waiting for “hard sell” onsome wonder system.Sorry to disappoint you ?I’m not writing this to sell you anything. However, I also do not want to raise the awareness ofthis problem and then leave you hanging without a solution.Instead I want to give you some advice to help you.Over the next few days take a good look at some money review websitesthey should tell you if they have tried the programs and or how they have rated them.I have personally tried over 100money making programs and recomended them based on many thingsif you want to check out my site please visithttp://www.moneywebsitereviews.com/You dont have to look at my website, there are plenty of money making review websites out there apart from mine, just look for them. But please have a look at any money making review websites before you buy another get rich in the next five minutes program. I wish you all the success in whatever business you start.RegardsWayne Abbeyhttp://www.moneywebsitereviews.com/

My story

Money Website Reviews
My story
Hello
My Name is Wayne Abbey
I would like to tell you all a little bit about myself.
I am 46 years old.
Married with 4 children (all girls), aged between 15-24.
http://www.moneywebsitereviews.com

For about the last three and a half years, I had been trying to make a living
on the Internet. Like all beginner’s,
I would try a program for a month or two and then go onto something else.
Typical for a beginner. I did this for about the fist two years and guess what,
I never made a cent, I spent a lot of money though.
One day a friend of mine that I was talking to,
(who makes his monthly wage in just a week) told me (when he finished laughing)
That I have to pick a program and work it, not to keep changing or better still
Start up 2 programs and work them both, that is how he started making his money.
Ok I said, but how do I know which program to start?.
I don’t know html, or how to build a website, anything about how to set up my own download page or any of that. Use Affiliate programs for starters, that is the only way to start up, all you do is advertise your Affiliate link and that’s it.
And then came the But.You must work at it, money doesn’t come overnight.
Ok I thought I would give it a try. The next obvious question was,
What programs are you running now, maybe I could start doing the same?.
He would not tell me, “get your own programs to start up,” he said.
But how do I know which is are the best affiliate programs to start?
He then ran through this great spiel about how you have to research what people are,
searching for, and then, look for programs about the main thing that is searched for.
Then you have to research the best keywords for that program and so on.
You also have to watch out for scams, some affiliate programs don’t pay you for all the effort that you have put in, you would not believe the amount of programs out there that are just plain rubbish. By saying that I mean some programs out there are using old fashioned, outdated techniques, and a lot of programs out there are just using guesswork and not practical information, there are also programs out there that just want to take your money, what I mean is they take your money, they know you will fail because they deliberately leave out some of the vital information that you will need to be successful. (they don’t want any more competition out there).
There are a lot of programs out there,
that will want you to spend your money buying useless products after you initially
sign- up, products that you really don’t need, they like to prey on beginners this way.
A lot of programs will advertise, ok we will give you all the help you will need just send us an email and we will help and then you wait and wait and wait and nobody gets back to you.
This was all a bit much for me, so again I asked him, what programs are you running?
Again he would not tell me. But he did give me some very helpful advice.
Go and find yourself a Review Website, What is a review website I asked?
this is something that I did not know anything about.
So then he began to explain, A Review Website is a website that recommends programs.
Review Website owners (most) test programs to see if they actually work and
Some Review Website owners even go so far as to test out the programs return policies,
whether or not what the program is advertising can actually happen (over time of course). At that particular time there was not very many Review Website’s around. So I thought,
What if I could do a little research into Affiliate programs myself and start up my own Affiliate Review Website to help other people find genuine Affiliate programs?
Bad idea my wife said,
“You are not going to use the last of our money on starting up another one of your Internet money wasting programs”, (you see at this particular time, I had just lost my job).
So that was all the incentive I needed. I began buying Affiliate programs, the well-established ones and some not so well established, some programs were just launching and some had been around for a long time.
Before I knew it, I had spent several thousand dollars buying programs and testing them out. I tried using their help menus, with some you had to put in a ticket others you had to send them an email. What happened after I did that? Some got back to me but not many,
Some could help me with whatever the problem was and others just gave me some technical babble and in the end did not help me one bit.
It was now time to test out the programs refund services, what did I find?
You guessed it, a lot of these programs I lost my money on.
Even some of the programs that did work and made me some good money,
Did not give me back a refund. So I just kept going, researching and testing, researching and testing, researching and testing.
In the end after 18 months,
I had tested and researched well over 100 programs (I am still doing this now).
Some of these programs I am still using to this day, and my wife?
Lets just say, she has no complaints now. (not that she was wrong of course).
Anyway I would like you to take a look at my Affiliate Review Website,
http://www.moneywebsitereviews.com
And remember that only the tried and tested programs will ever get a listing on my site.
I am a family man just trying to make an honest living.
I will not just advertise a program for the money.
I was living in the poor house most of my life until the last year, and I remember
When I was only a beginner, how much money I lost trying to make a living on the web.
There are so many rip off programs on the Internet,
If you are just starting out or if you want more programs to work,
Then please have a look at my website, if not my Affiliate Review Website,
Then find another one.
But don’t just buy a program without getting recommendations first PLEASE!!!
I wish you all the best on whatever project that you start.
Regards
Wayne Abbey http://www.moneywebsitereviews.com

Money Making Scams

Not Just Websites:

ABSTRACT.
Scam Artists have been around for centuries.
Years have passed and new technology has emerged
And so have a new breed of con artist;

A wise man once said
"money is the root of all evil"
could this be one of the things he was referring to?

THE ONLINE FRAUDSTER.
Utilizing various aspects and tools of the Internet,
the online fraudster has become more successful
then ever in defrauding a large target audience.
So successful, that the issue has been the
subject of much concern in recent years.
Online fraud is still continuing to thrive.
As long as the fraudster is motivated by greed and able
to deceive others, fraud will always be in existence.
This report will closely examine the emergence
of the fraudster into cyberspace.
It will discuss what tactics and methods
the online fraudster utilizes in his/her attempts to
successfully deceive others.
Furthermore, it will provide a profile of those individuals.
Lastly, several conclusions will be drawn
regarding Internet fraud.

THE VENTURE INTO CYBERSPACE
Imagine a medium in which information or ideas
can be passed on to a large audience of individuals
in a relatively short period of time.
If you haven't been living under a rock in recent years,
you would know that such a thought is in fact reality.
The Internet, has now found its way into
the commercial and private sectors of countries around the globe.
The number of net users increases greatly with the passing of each day.
As the population of people on the Internet continually grows,
so do the potential threats and vulnerabilities associated with it.
The Internet can provide a wealth of information.
However, it can also be viewed as a breeding ground for fraud.

What is Internet Fraud?
The F.B.I. defines Internet fraud as
"any fraudulent scheme in which one or more components of the Internet,
such as Web sites, chat rooms and e-mail, play a significant role
in offering nonexistent goods or services to consumers,
communicating false or fraudulent representations about the
schemes to consumers, or transferring victim's funds,
access devices or other items of value to the control of the scheme's perpetrator".
Just think, the Internet has made things so much easier for the fraudster.
No longer is there a need to rent office space,
hire employees and spend countless hours on a telephone pitching to targeted audiences.
Time and funding have been reduced significantly.
As a result, the Internet looks extremely attractive.
Furthermore, with the usefulness,
popularity and global reach of the Internet continuously growing,
it doesn't take much to try and understand why fraudsters
are venturing off into cyberspace.

Fraudsters:
Who Are They? / What is Their Motive?
So, who are these online fraudsters?

fraudsters are individuals "who defraud others".
Fraudsters have been around for centuries.
"throughout the centuries, people have committed frauds of all
sorts in order to gain, through taking advantage of others".
Virtual scam-artists are similar to the traditional scam artists
in the real world. Their fundamental motive is greed.
However, there is one distinct difference; they utilize
a completely different medium/environment in their mission to
ultimately accomplish their goal of successfully deceiving others.
The typical traditional fraudster starts his/her venture
off in a similar manner to that of a business entrepreneur.
In regards to financing his/her operation,
To get up and running a relatively small amount of money is required.
As little as one individual to as many as twenty staff
can operate a typical operation. Some operations can be
small and generally done on one's spare time,
while others may involve full time work.
No matter how sophisticated the operation may be, each fraudster
must rely on his/her ability and motivation
to find the weaknesses of their target audiences and exploit them out of greed.
During the months of May 2000 through November 2000
an extensive study to help address the issue of fraud
committed through the Internet was undertaken.
In this study, a thorough and complete data list was compiled,
which allowed a general profile of a typical online fraudster to be made.
According to the study, the data suggests that
individuals who are involved in fraudulent activities
via the Internet are generally,
individuals and not businesses.
Furthermore, these individuals are predominantly males
residing in largely populated states.
The data also suggests that these individuals have
diversified international backgrounds with representation
in the United States, Eastern Europe and Canada.
In a recent article relating to the emergence of Internet fraud
stemming from the recent terrorist attacks on
the World Trade Center and the Pentagon
(fake donation funds, etc.)started to pop up,
an official at Britain's National Criminal Intelligence Service
(NCIS) stated "fraudsters
typically exploit human misery, so they invariably create human misery.
They are without scruples because this is how they make money.
It is very grubby money".
There is a saying: "another day, another dollar".
If there is a dollar to be made,
the fraudster will do whatever it takes to make it.

Fraud Exists in Various Corners of Cyberspace
The Internet has allowed for people thousands of miles away
to communicate with one another in real time.
The most dominant forms of communication over the Internet are
electronic mail, newsgroups, Usenet, "chat" rooms,
Internet relay chats, list serves.

Types of Online Scams Used by Fraudsters:

Bulletin boards also serve as major mediums of communication.
Electronic mail is of great use to online fraudsters.
In literally a few minutes,
an online fraudster can create a personalized email
and send it to thousands of individuals in his/her target audience.
Using e-mail to accomplish such a task is known as "spamming".
The fraudster knows that many people will simply delete the e-mail
once it arrives.
However, it is also likely that many will be made curious
by the subject heading of the e-mail message,
and therefore click the message to read on.
The people who do open the message,
a small percentage just may fall into the fraudster's trap.

BULLETIN BOARDS
have also proven useful to online fraudsters.
Bulletin boards are a typically the location where
many individuals exchange information with one another.
Many online fraudsters utilize message boards.
Offering schemes to subscribers/browsers of such boards.
Fraudsters, who target
securities investors for example,
utilize the message boards to pass on bogus
"inside" information on certain stocks or corporations.
Many fraudsters prefer this medium because it adds the benefit
of them being able to easily hide their true identities with the
use of aliases. Using multiple aliases,
a fraudster can make it seem as though many people
share the same opinions or have the same
"inside" information that the fraudster does.

Auctions
According to a study released in May 2001.
Internet auction fraud makes up a majority (64%) of all online fraud.
Internet auction houses have become extremely popular in recent years.
An online auction is very similar to a real life auction.
The only differences in an online auction are that the auction
has a global reach and that there is no need to have an
auction house with limited seating.
On the Internet, it is quite possible to have multiple bidders and
millions of potential bidders for a specific item. It's a great concept;
however, there are multiple reasons, why
Internet auction fraud is the number one type of online fraud.
According to the May 2001 study "Internet auction fraud involves "nondelivery,
misrepresentation, triangulation fee stacking, black market goods,
multiple bidding and shill bidding".
In regards to
"non-delivery",this type of fraud involves
having an auction on an item that does not exist.

Misrepresentation results when the seller deceives the potential buyers.
Essentially the seller lists false values and conditions for the items up for bid.

Triangulation involves the selling of an item (by the perpetrator)
using fake identities and payment information to a bidder at an online
auction web site.
The winning bidder and online merchant are later questioned as to how
they came across the stolen merchandise.

In regards to Fee stacking, this type of fraud
involves the tacking on of extra fees
by the seller after the auction closes.

Black-market goods are another type of Internet auction fraud.
Black market goods are generally
goods that are shipped to the winning bidder without a box,
instructions or manufacturer's warranty.

Multiple bidding
Occurs when the buyer places multiple bids
for the same item using different aliases.
Once the other potential bidders have lost
interest and the auction is coming to a close,
the high bids are withdrawn and the item is won at a lower bid.

Shill bidding
the seller, using different aliases/or with the help of associates,
bids on the item, which results in driving the price of the item up.
It is estimated that in the year 2000, auction customers lost $4 million.
Over 1.3 million transactions take place daily on online auction sites.

Investment Fraud
Online investment fraud is a type of Internet fraud,
which is becoming all too common.
Many brokerage houses/firms are providing clientele with great incentives to
manage their accounts online.
Furthermore, a countless number of websites have popped
up within recent years that offer financial advice.
Although a majority of these websites
offer reliable news and advice on specific stocks and corporations,
the web user should be weary.
In a recent study conducted by ABCNews.com, it was found that seven million
Americans used the Internet to trade investments.
This figure suggests that approximately twenty five percent of all
investment trades made by individual investors take place online.
That number is astounding. It is no wonder why many fraudsters prey on those
individuals who manager their investment portfolios via the Internet.
There are several different tactics that the fraudster can employ
when attempting to commit investment fraud.

Typically fraudsters generate and distribute online newsletters.
Such newsletters, which are commonly found on web sites,
bulletin boards or via e-mail,
often carry no subscription fee and offer the online investor
valuable information about specific stocks/corporations.
Many of these online newsletters are in fact legitimate.
It is known that many corporations legally pay individuals
to create and distribute newsletters promoting their companies.
The newsletters are legitimate as long as the company files
that such a newsletter has been made, who created it,
how much they were paid, and to whom it was distributed.
At any given time there may be hundreds of thousands of
newsletters of the sort floating around cyberspace.
However, it is often difficult for the average web
surfer/individual online investor to determine the legitimacy of
the information provided in the newsletters.
If the fraudster spends a little time and effort in developing the
newsletter and making it appealing to the human eye,
he may just be successful in deceiving some of those in his targeted audience.
Based on the information they obtain from such newsletters,
many individual investors may chose to either buy or sell a
particular stock featured in the newsletter.
It doesn't take a genius to realize that a
fraudster can profit considerably from either
investing or selling the stocks he/she features in his/her newsletters.

Many fraudsters are also turning to message boards
to obtain financial information.
Many websites feature message boards, company information and real time
quotes on companies trading on the NYSE or NASDQ stock market exchanges.
The most popular website of this sort is Yahoo! Financial.
To gain access to such information it only takes a
few keystrokes necessary to enter in the URL of the web site
into the web browser. Information is then at your fingertips.
One can easily view all the information about a particular corporation
or its stock history. The web surfer can view anything from
the latest real time quotes, company news, and press releases
to even the most recent trades made by top executives in that specific corporation.
If one wants to be able to post any information on the message board
of a particular stock a simple registration process needs to be completed.
No information needs to be verified to obtain the user ID and
password necessary to gain full access to the boards.
A few simple questions and a fraudster can be just moments away
from posting a message to his/her targeted audience.
If the fraudster wants to make even more of a statement
about a particular stock or corporation he/she intends to focus on,
it only takes a few more minutes of his/her time to generate more accounts/aliases.

Fraudsters interested in committing investment fraud via the Internet are finding their
way into live chat rooms. It is here where fraudsters can engage in real-time
conversations with individuals who are interested in investing.
Through the use of such chat rooms,
fraudsters can easily relay information to those individuals in the
chat room he/she intends to deceive.
Chat rooms can be a great tool for the online fraudster.
Not only can he/she engage in real-time conversation with his/her target
audience, he/she can also hide his/her identity through the use of aliases as well.

There are several categories of Internet Investment fraud. One of the common is
known as the pump and dump scam.
In such a scam, the fraudster creates in his/her
intended target's mind the need to either buy or sell a stock immediately.
Usually the fraudster creates newsletters or posts on message boards
claiming knowledge of inside information on a particular stock.
In reality, this is just a neat little game the fraudsters
play to reel their victims in. The fraudsters who typically own shares of stock in this
company want others who are gullible to buy the stock.
In a sense, by promoting a stock, the fraudster is engaged in the
pumping aspect of the scheme. Once the stock price has increased,
the fraudster will then decide to sell or dump the stock. As a result,
the gullible investors lose money,
while the clever fraudster may profit enormously from the scheme.
The fraudster may also employee this type of scheme if he/she wants to merely
affect a corporation's stock price out of spite.
Fraudsters frequently use this ploy with small,
thinly-traded companies because it's easy to manipulate a stock when there's
little or no information available about the company.
Common schemes employed by fraudsters targeting online investors
are those that fall into the following categories:
the pyramid, risk free fraud and off shore frauds.

The pyramid is a commonly used tactic.
Risk free fraud involves investment opportunities associated
with selling too good to be true investments. Usually,
such deals are offered via the Internet and it doesn't
take much money or effort for the individual investor
(the fraudster's gullible target) to become involved.
It is not uncommon for the investment and so called
unbelievable opportunity to be non-existent.

Offshore fraud, this type of fraud, involves investments in
overseas countries or markets.
With the use of the Internet,
previous barriers have been eliminated.

However, these investments are particularly risky because
they are ventures into areas outside of your own Country and they become
difficult to investigate if the investor suspects fraud.

Online fraudsters have many ways of using the Internet
to put their plan to deceive others into action.
We have seen how the various aspects of the Internet are used.
Now, we will examine just how these online "tools"
help the fraudster accomplish his/her goals.

Pyramid schemes are gaining tremendous popularity
amongst fraudsters. Essentially, a pyramid scheme is "a fraudulent system of making
money, which requires an endless stream of recruiters for success.
Recruits (a) give money to the recruiters
and (b) enlist fresh recruits to give them money".
One may think that such a system is legal. However,
the opposite is true.
In fact, "the result of such a scheme is inevitable:
at best a few people walk away with a lot of money,
while most recruits lose whatever money they put into the scheme.
The only way anybody can make money through a pyramid scheme is if
people are defrauded into giving money upon a promise of getting
something in return when it is impossible for them
to get anything at all in return.
That is to say, in plain English, schemes such as these always constitute fraud".

Online fraud can encompass a wide range of categories.
According to Internet Fraud Watch statistics compiled for the year 2000,
the top 10 forms of Internet Fraud are:

online auctions (78%), general merchandise sales (10%), Internet Access Services (3%),
Work-At-Home (2%), Advance Fee Loans (2%), Computer Equipment/Software (2%),
Nigerian Money Orders (1%), Information Adult Services (1%),
Credit Card Offers (0.5%) and Travel/Vacations (0.5%).

A Profile of the Victims
The results of a Six Month Data Trends Report, conducted in the year 2000,
allowed for a profile of a typical online fraud complainant.
The results of the report concluded that the typical complainant was generally
an individual who is male
and between the ages of 20 and 35.
It was found that a majority of the complainants
reside in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
The results of the report show that a majority of
the complainants from the United States reside in
California,Washington,Florida and New York.

Never invest based solely on bulletin board postings or an online newsletter,
look for key phrases, take your time on proposed opportunities,
Always find review sites and read if and how they have been tested
Be wary of international opportunities,

The virtual cyber scammer is really no different then
the traditional scam artist of the real world.
However,
the online scam artist has many advantages over the traditional
scam artist.
The online scam artist can target a tremendously large audience
without ever having to come into physical contact with
those he/she plans to deceive.
Furthermore, the online scam artist doesn't need much time,
effort or money to reach his/her intended audience.
It may take only fifteen minutes or so for the
online fraudster to compose and send
a customized email message to thousands of people.
It would take months if not more,
for the traditional scam artist to accomplish such a task.
This is just one reason why many fraudsters are making their way into cyberspace.
Not only is it easy for cyber scammers to deceive others online.
It is also easy for them to cover their tracks.
With the use of aliases and such they can hide their identity
and location it makes it less likely for the fraudster to get caught;
why would anyone want to pick, another profession?

With the introduction of review sites
it is now a little easier to find genuine offers.
Although there seems like a lot of progress has been made in
attempting to combat Internet fraud, more has to be done.
Internet fraud exists now, and it will continue to thrive well into the future.
There will always be those who because of greed,
want to defraud others.

It is a known fact that fraudsters have been around since
the beginning of mankind.
There will always be those who will,
through human nature, fall victim to fraudsters.
Therefore, the issue can never be resolved it can only be addressed.
The best way to address the issue is by informing and educating others on the issue.
Through education comes knowledge. From knowledge comes understanding.
If one understands then one is less likely to be a victim.

I truly hope this makes people aware of the many scams out there,
always try and locate a good review site before you buy your product
as review site owners will not usually allow any product on there site that
has not been tested or researched in one way or another.
If you cant find a good review site
research the company as much as possible or the owner of the product you want to buy.
Buying well-known products on the web is always a good place to start
believe it or not reputation does mean a lot on the web.

Good luck in your future.

Money Website Scams

Money Website Scams

I hope this article would help some people, especially Newbie's (beginners) not to get scamed when looking, for a start in an internet business of their own.I have been researching money website offers for the last year.Let me tell you, I have come across, some of the best money making scams that you could imagine.Trying these money making scams out for a while, to see if you can actually make any money from them, you know the ones that you can, become a millionaire overnight or within a month.I cant believe that people can be that low, as to reap money from people that are that desperate. All they are trying to do is get themselves out of trouble, trying to do the right thing and work to earn money and all, they get for their trouble is some low life hustling their money away from them, it's disgusting behavior. For those of you that are new to the internet, please be very careful of these money websites that promise you the world overnight, a lot of them use outdated techniques and some even use simple guess work, 99% are scams. Don't get me wrong, some programs do actually work.their are some very good programs out there at the moment, you just have to be careful and really look into them before handing over your money. Any program that you start will always, take anything from a week up to a month before you see any results. However some programs especially the big name ones, can actually make you money from the first day that you begin. I have found several of the well know ones to work extremely well, even though they do promise you some over the top earnings wright away, but the do actually work well. All that I am saying is be careful before you hand over your money.Always make sure they have at least a 7 day trial period if possible as well as a garuanteed refund, that way you should be ok. Another thing that you should do especially if you are a newbie is go to a money website review program.those programs usually have done a lot of research on money making programs and can recommend the ones, that they have researched and found to actually work. This can be especially helpful for newbies. There are many sites out there that do review money making websites, just go to google and look for them.Even though I am not going to name programs that I have researched, and tried in the past, I dont want to seem that I am writing this just to sell programs, because I am not. This is aimed particulary at newbies, to hopefully enlighten them of the big bad money making website scams that are out there, but I will tell you, http://moneywebsitereviews.com/
is my own review site.
There are plenty more out there if you look.
I hope this information helps some people out there.
This is the only money review site that I personally trust.
Best of luck to all.
Wayne.
